About Dr. Howley

Dr. Howley is certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He attended St. Francis Xavier University where he completed a Bachelor of Science Degree graduating with Honours in his field. From there, he attended medical school at Dalhousie University. Dr. Howley graduated with a medical degree in 2001, and was awarded an honour for outstanding performance and contribution to the medical class.
Dr. Howley then completed a five year residency program in plastic surgery at the University of Toronto, one of the premier plastic surgery training programs in Canada. He has twice been awarded top honours for best clinical research in the field of plastic & reconstructive surgery at the University of Toronto.
Born and raised in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Dr. Howley is thrilled to return to the Maritimes and bring his expertise and caring nature to his patients. In addition to his private plastic & cosmetic surgery practice, he currently holds position as a full time active staff at both the Moncton City Hospital & Georges Dumont Hospital, where he works with a multidisciplinary team of dedicated trained professionals. Through these venues, Dr Howley is able to offer the latest in surgical & non-surgical cosmetic procedures.
